How to log in or change passwords for University systems.

Manage your accounts

Current students and staff

Your York St John IT account is used to access most of the University's digital systems including e:Vision. You can change or reset your password from the login page for your account.

Accommodation

If you are applying for or staying in University accommodation you will have an accommodation account. You can reset your PIN from the login page for your account.

Library online resources

You should use your York St John IT account (username and password) to access online Library resources, including ebooks, ejournals and databases. 

You can use either your username or your full email address when logging in to Library resources.

For students, your username will be in the format jane.smith.

For staff, your username will be in the format j.smith.

Your York St John email address is your username followed by @yorksj.ac.uk.

Library loans

You can check the items you have on loan by using your Library account. This is a separate account and to log in you will need:

  • Your individual borrower number (the same number that appears on your student ID card)
  • Your individual 4 digit PIN (set by the user)

You can reset your PIN from the login page for your Library account.

Campus WiFi

You can log into the campus WiFi using your York St John IT account username and password.

Students who have completed registration can connect immediately.
